I LIKED Bell Road in the early 70's: clear sailing!

You mean we should make the developers pay for infrastructure? Like Del Webb putting in the extra lanes on I-17 from Anthem to Phoenix? Oh, wait, I mean the extra lanes from Verrado to Phoenix on I-10? No, that's not it, it must be the extra lanes from the east valley to Phoenix on US 60.

I haven't seen developers pay all the costs of infrastucture yet.

I don't understand the references to "major interstate highway." I thought US 93 was to be part of the Canamex route, but I haven't seen any notice of 93 being accorded interstate highway status. If it were, we wouldn't be having this discussion, as overpasses, etc. would be funded by the federal government.

I generally have found roundabouts to be confusing and disruptive but not fatal, and I don't think we'll be able to force developers to build overpasses. Not sure I want to see a raised highway 93 between 60 and 71.

I think I'd rather seen a roundabout at the Vulture Mine Road/HWY 93 intersection instead of the new light. If it would have been a roundabout, all traffic would know it had to slow, never taking a chance at "beating the light," and blasting through the intersection at speed.
