 "UNINFORMED"

MOUNTAIN FROM MOLE HILL

Congress, AZ : The Congress school Board voted to have uniforms in it's elementary school. The uniforms are not like the old one dress type of the past. They allow for various colors of Polo shirts.

This was the fourth meeting regarding school uniforms. The first two were a bit rowdy in peoples reactions to uniforms. This meeting was for the actual vote on the dress code, it was passed unanimously.

Board Members smartly defused the situation, by acting like the movie " Ground Hog Day". For one hour and 37 minutes they repeated the same points over and over and over. Finally taking it to a vote while the audience was numb.  There was no reaction from the audience.

Board President Jim Thompson stated that having standardized uniforms " makes it much easier to enforce a dress code with school uniforms, than Levis half way down their bottom".

It will also allow staff to identify easier students that do not belong on campus. Thus helping security.

The aclu threatened legal action over the uniform. Their letter is here for all to see.

In an example of potential dress code violation. We have this exclusive photo of Board Member Sergio Horcos walking the streets of Wickenburg.

Would this be allowed in Congress Elementary ?
