Jones Ford Still Strong
Wickenburg : Chrysler has filed bankruptcy plans on eliminating 789 of it's 3200 dealers nationwide. Jones Ford here in Wickenburg has sold Chrysler vehicles in addition to it's full line of Ford products, is on the list of Chrysler dealers to be eliminated. Dealers franchises are well protected by state laws except in a bankruptcy. All contracts and agreements are null and void in a bankruptcy. The judge decides the terms of the bankruptcy. Chrysler stated their intention was to reduce dealerships that are too close to each other and not profitable. General Manager Brian Jones
feels that the move by Chrysler doesn't make sense as the nearest
Chrysler dealership is over 40 miles away and they are profitable.
The net result will be less money for Chrysler. However he is
thrilled and optimistic to focus on his Ford products. For example the 2009 F-150 Motor Trends Truck of the Year. Ford is the only Automaker of the big 3 who has not taken the tax payers money. Chrysler and soon to be General Motors has taken billions in your money to avoid bankruptcy and filed anyways. Your taxes will not be repaid. Jones Ford has been serving the Wickenburg area since 1970 and contributes to many community programs. The Jones Family also has dealerships in Casa Grande and Buckeye. Nice people, they deserve your business. www.jonesautocenters.com
