Phoenix, AZ: Much like the " White Flight" of Caucasian People from the inner cities to the suburbs, during the 1960's, Migrant Hispanic workers are leaving Arizona in droves. The transfer of a large portion of Arizona's laborers to other states is happening now.

 According to the Laundry Mat Association business at some laundry mats in Migrant neighborhoods, business  is down 30%. Also in the same neighborhoods Mini Storage facilitates  that once reported they were at 100% occupancy are down to 80% and less . A Phoenix contractor who has a fleet of work trucks that he trades for new vehicles every two years.  When he went to a large Phoenix Ford dealer, who he dealt with regularly. He was told that his trucks had a low trade in value. Why, because the dealer on Van Buren who normally buys the work trucks wasn't buying them from the Ford Dealer. The dealer on Van Buren had seen a drop off in his migrant customers. " Brown Flight" ( Migrant workers leaving)

This year the State of Arizona reported the lowest unemployment on record of 3.3% That represents people looking for work. Drive around and one cannot avoid seeing the help wanted signs. Already there is a shortage of laborers.

 The housing market will drag down the Arizona economy. One cement curbing contractor closed his business due to the housing slow down. He moved to Scottsdale to be closer to his new job. He has a house in Maricopa, that he is renting, but his new income and rent is not covering his bills. He fears he will end up losing his house.
